Getting Started: Creating a Spacecraft
Selecting a Spacecraft
The Inventory panel is the place that contains all available components and entities to choose from. By default, when looking at the Earth view, the entity options will be available. This allows for the creation of empty spacecraft, ground stations, constellations and vessels. Selecting the spacecraft tab will show some example spacecraft that have been pre-built with components.
Once a spacecraft is added (simply by clicking the spacecraft button for the option), the spacecraft will be added to the level. This is visible in the viewport and the outliner. The newly created spacecraft will also be selected automatically.
Note
To view the spacecraft created, press the spacecraft in the viewport breadcrumb at the top or press the TAB key on the keyboard to focus on the spacecraft.
Properties
The Properties panel organizes data from multiple sources based on the current selection. With the new spacecraft selected, it can be targeted by clicking on it at the top of the panel.
To switch between different objects, select a component or an entity in the outliner and press on a different component.
