Plotting Data

Simulated data can be plotted in real-time within Nominal Studio. When adding plots the properties they list come from the currently Active Object. Create the Landsat 8 satellite if it hasn’t been added and select the solar panel.

Open the Data Panel, which by default is hidden behind the Inventory. If the tab is not there it can be added at any time using the Add Panel Button at the top right of every panel.

With the Data Panel available, press Add Plot and then Add Property. Select Power as the property to plot.

If the Power is not available, ensure you have selected a solar panel, or try using the search option. Hit play on the simulation and the plot will begin tracking the generated power.
